Blessed Miriam Teresa: A saint from New Jersey

Blessed Miriam Teresa Demjanovich, SC was a Sister of Charity of Saint Elizabeth who died as a novice in 1927. Because of the holiness of her life, the Catholic Church is determining if she should officially be declared a saint. She was beatified in 2014. One more miracle is needed for her to be canonized.

EWTN has developed a video on the life and mission of Blessed Miriam Teresa. The video will premiere on Friday, May 8 at 5:30 p.m. Eastern.

Sister Mary Canavan, SC, is the vice postulator of the cause for beatification/canonization for Blessed Miriam Teresa. Learn more
