Leadership Meeting June 2021 Day Three

June 11, 2021

Sister Pat Kozak, CSJ, welcomed congregational leaders to another day of virtual learning and sharing. Congregational leaders had the opportunity to participate in discussions within the whole as well as to meet together in mixed groups and with their own teams.

Sister Grace gave a short summary of a video report from Seton Heritage Ministries that was scheduled to be shown to leadership yesterday. Due to time constraints, leaders were given the option to view the video on their own time. All federation members and associates are invited to watch the video and learn more about some exciting initiatives underway at the National Shrine of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton.

Prior to the beginning of the leadership meeting, each team had the opportunity to prepare a one-page “state of the union” report about their congregations. This information was synthesized, and the group spent time looking at some of the challenges and opportunities of each congregation. Leaders spoke about what was important to them, and suggested ideas for collaboration with and among the federation congregations.

Sisters Mary Elizabeth Miller, SCN, and Brendalee Boisvert, CSM (Antigonish) presented a report from the Federation Finance Committee.

Immediately following the business session, Sisters Ellen Dauwer, SC (New Jersey) and Nancy Gerth, SCN, hosted a virtual social and Federation Show and Tell.
