The Sisters of Charity of Seton Hill hosted a “Potato Planting Party” June 6. A special blessing from Lakota Nation Running Bear and wife, Lynn, began the evening’s planting. “It was a beautiful event to witness and to thank God for the abundance of our land and crops,” said Sister Barbara Ann Smelko, SC. “Thank you also to our garden manager, Darren Achtzehn, for all his knowledge and assistance over these past seven years in directing the garden planting and development.”
