This week, the House of Charity is hosting students from Creighton University. The students are in New Orleans for a fall break service project with SBP USA.
Sister Vicki Lichtenauer, SCL, described the students as compassionate, hard workers. “They are helping to build opportunity housing in neighborhoods where people did not come back post-Katrina. Existing neighbors are begging for neighbors, so this is an intentional effort to build affordable new homes.”
The House of Charity is a collaborative ministry of the Sisters of Charity Federation. For more photos, follow the House of Charity on Facebook.
