CONVENT STATION, NJ – Do you know a young person who is all fired up about making a difference in their community? We want to know them, too.
For 160 years, the Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth have been on the front lines of social justice, partnering with individuals and communities to bring about real change. Our new initiative, #ProjectImpact, continues this tradition of caring and activism by supporting the efforts that teenagers between the ages of 13-18 are making in their own communities. #ProjectImpact provides mini grants of up to $300, for a total of $7,500, to help teens start or expand service projects or other action in the areas of: the environment, human trafficking, migrants and refugees, poverty, peace and nonviolence, and racism.
#ProjectImpact is a collaborative effort of the Offices of Interns and Volunteers and Peace, Justice and Ecological Integrity.
