Sister Liz Sjoberg, DC has built up a community charity run event for the Brownsville, Texas community almost single-handedly over the last six years, now called Sisters on the Run. She started by running as a single participant in other events, and last month, she ran her fourth marathon for Proyecto Juan Diego, serving as race director for a brand-new chip-timed 5K in partnership with the Brownsville Fire Department.
