Two Sisters of Charity-Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, recently traveled to El Salvador to represent the congregation and its support of a collaborative water project that will benefit 800 people in four communities in the district of Chalatenango. From March 26-April 2, Sisters Maryanne Ruzzo and Cecilia Hudec met with staff from SHARE El Salvador, traveled to the project site, and visited with families.

“SHARE incorporates five core values into the projects they support: women’s empowerment, citizen participation, leadership development, environmental sustainability, and human rights,” said Sister Cecilia.
